Hi, I’m Giuseppe!
I’m a biologist on a mission to make science meaningful, accessible, and practical.
🔬 I earned my PhD in Germany, specializing in molecular biology and aging, where I spent years unraveling the complex mechanisms of life. But my journey didn’t stop there.
🚀 After my PhD, I transitioned into industry as a Field Application Specialist, applying my expertise to real-world solutions and working directly with researchers tackling cutting-edge biological questions.
More recently, I've become deeply passionate about artificial intelligence and its potential to transform how we work in biology.
But somewhere along the way, I also realized something else. Biology is much more than the lab. For me, being a biologist has never only been about experiments, papers, or technology. It’s also about curiosity, nature, animals, human behavior, and trying to better understand our place within the living world. Modern life often disconnects us from these things, even as science gives us more tools to study them than ever before.
CuriosityBloom was born from this tension.
What started as a blog about AI in biology gradually evolved into a broader space for curiosity-driven exploration: a place where I can explore science beyond the lab, reflect on the changing relationship between humans, technology, and nature, and share the ideas and discoveries that genuinely fascinate me.
Some articles here are practical. Others are reflective. Some explore AI and scientific careers, while others dive into animals, consciousness, biology, or the strange questions that emerge when science meets everyday life.
I don’t claim to have all the answers.
I’m simply a curious biologist exploring, learning, questioning, and sharing the journey along the way.
